The End Game

100% onchain generative art collection and interactive social game experiment on Base.

Created by @dailofrog (Founder of tiny based frogs).

What are the rules?

Mint a token.

If there is not another mint within 12 hours, the game ends and you (the final minter) can claim all the ETH in the Total Reward pool.

Mint pricing: For every 100 tokens minted, the cost per mint goes up by +0.001 ETH. The first mint (Token #1) started at 0.001 ETH.

How is the "Total Reward" pool funded?

Whenever anyone mints a token, 50% of the mint fees goes directly into the Total Reward pool.

Nobody except the final winner can claim the Total Reward.

How long will this game run?

No idea. As long as there are minters, the game continues.

How does the art work?

When you mint a token, the token will display a Rainbow Block representing you as the potential winner of the Total Reward pool.

If someone mints after you, your rainbow block will be revealed as a new onchain generative art piece. Each piece is procedurally generated onchain and seeded with the minter's wallet address. Each art piece is unique.

Is the art and game fully onchain?

Yes! Each art token is a generative SVG that is constructed directly from the contract. This removes any reliance on third-party hosting solutions (i.e IPFS or Arweave). The contract also runs the onchain game mechanics as well.

We believe in the fully onchain decentralized future of art.

Can this project get rugged?

No. The contract code was developed such that the contract owner or admin cannot rug the project. This means nobody except the winner can claim the reward.

The admin is also not able to stop/restart the game or change any game settings (i.e. durations, mint costs, etc). The contract only exists to run one instance of the game and once it is over, it cannot restart. Only one winner will ever result from The End Game.

It's fully trustless and decentralized. Feel free to check out the contract to verify.

When did The End Game begin?

The game began on August 12, 2023 (transaction).

Update: The game has now ended, with the last minter winning 1.126 ETH (transaction).

I won! How do I claim the ETH reward?

Congrats! If the game has ended and you were the last minter, you can claim all the ETH in the Total Reward pool by calling the "claimFees()" function on the contract.

If you encounter any issues or need assistance, feel free to reach out to @dailofrog.
